My research relates mostly to statistical computation and Monte Carlo.

My long-time research area is likelihood-based inference for generalized linear mixed models; you can read a newbie-friendly introduction to generalized linear models here and learn more about the R package glmm here.

More recently, I have been looking into convergence for Markov chains. You can read more about this research here or on the arXiv: “Revisiting the Gelman-Rubin Diagnostic.”
